PM's.. increasing the capacity

Hello, wonder if anyone can help me.... currently pm boxes hold 25 messages.  My members have asked if there is any way to increase that amount as some of them get a lot of pm's and they are having to delete in order for  any new ones to go to their pm in box.

I have looked at all the admin controls and have also search the guides and tutorials here, but cannot find anything.

Edit the membergroups there is an option to increase the pm limit by group

thanks smf... i have checked all the membergroups and they are set to 0=unlimited.

members can receive unlimited pm's but they can't hold more than 25 in their in box, in other words they have to delete/reduce their full inbox before they get any new ones. Maybe i didn't explain myself very well before.
as i said all the groups are set to 0.

any idea what to do or is it not possbile to hold more than 25?

thats odd monica mine is on unlimited an they have unlimited lol...it is viewed in pages eh....but i have noticed  that once the numbers gets up there, one has to delete them because u will gets a message er pop up saying you have a message an u go an look an there is not one there....soon as u delete a few it appears.

yes DC, that's exactly what is happening.  once the in box is full and they get further messages, they have to delete some of the ones already in their in box before they can receive any new ones.

25 seems to be a full in box.

i had a lot more in mine before that happend  an i had inquired to smf for free when  i had received pop ups but no message in my box...i had to go and read my pm in the mail....after 2 days it would appear.  then one day i thought perhaps twas  the amount in my box..so when i got a pop up and no message i deleted wun an it appeared.  I find now i have to keep mine 50 an below or this happens again.....before this happened...my i had 150 plus in there an not a problem.....as far as im concern this all started when the email sytem frigged up as well....in aug/september  I have been in other forums (smf) not for free though  an i have 300 an sum in there an no problem like this.

I have members having the same issue now.  Do we know what causes this or how to prevent it?
