Has the 1.1 upgrade been done for server 1?  Or are you talking server 2?  lol

hi DC.. long time no see!
Yes it is still possible.
Go into your admin panel then
Go to Permissions
Click the Settings tab
Put a check mark for:   Enable permissions for post count based groups
That will make your newbies, and other post count members, show up so you can edit their permissions under Permissions

;)

yeah we have been referring to the old format (1.0.10) as server 1; forums end with smfforfree.com.
And the new format (1.1.2) as server 2, forums end with smforfree2.com.

hope that helps with the confusion

It appears that you have unchecked the guest permission for that board.  Admin Center-Boards-Modify Boards.

Find the one labeled Home and see if you have unchecked the permission for guests.

Hope that helps.

Admin /  Portal Settings / .Board to display the news:...

Choose a board in the drop down list that you do allow guests to see or if you wish to not use the Portal uncheck the box to disable it.
