Password Protection

I just started my Forum for my group and would like to limit it to only my group.  How can I put a password that all newbies must submit before they can be allowed to register.  This would be great for certain topics in the Forum as well.

What I'm wanting is a password that I set that only people in my club would know.  Entering that password would allow them full access based on my settings.  I don't want a guest being able to access the topics and read all post.  I have set the Guest with no permission but they can still go in and read everything.  Is there anyway to do this?

Set your forum registration to member approval and you will have the ability to review them before you let them in.

If you don't want guests to see anything but the one board you must have visible, then uncheck guests from each board that you make.

If you wish to have a mixed group and only certain boards available to certain  members, make a membergroup and put your special people in it.  Then when you make the boards, check only the membergroup in the listing that  you wish to see those boards.
