Not receiving email notifications

I am a member of two soap opera groups, and for the last several weeks, I have not been getting email notifications for threads where I have posted.

What do you use for email?   hotmail?  gmail? etc.
What are the forum's urls?
If it is an issue with the forum we would need the admin of the forum that is having the problem to leave a Support Topic so that we can help them since they would be the one's who can fix it.

Hi Sibyl and Soapoperafan_5,

One of the forums in which he speaks of is my forum (the PattizzzzYandR).
I have checked his settings within his profile to make sure he is enabled to receive notifications and he is.

I am not sure where to check the options on the board to "enable" the board members to receive notifications.  Could you tell me where those options are?

Did you change anything on the Forum Features > Features Configuration page at the top - the mail section?   That should not be changed - should be left at the default settings.

There isnt a setting via Admin for sending out the notifications.    The settings are all in the profiles.
hotmail emaill addresses seem to have an issue with retrieving the notifications at times.   I know the hotmail uk ones definitely do.
Check junk and mail folders to see if they are going there.

Hi Sibyl,

I am not sure where you are telling me to go to check the options.
Under the ADMIN menu's I see the "Configurations" Menu with these options, but I am not seeing what you are talking about - I apologize for being "dense" but I am on serious medications at his moment and I just do not *see* your options.... Sorry

(I did check the individual settings for Soapoperafan_5 and it is set to receive notifications.  He is the only member that wants to receive email notifications on **ALL** topics being discussed on the board - so I am not sure why he is not receiving this information.  When we send out a message to "All" members, the rest of the members are receiving "special" notices then...)

Admin > Forum Settings > Feature Configuration tab
I just wanted to be sure you never did anything on that page (the top section that has to do with mail settings)

You said this is effecting only one member?    Have the member check their junk/spam settings and folders for their email account and see if something is blocking the emails.

One other thing..  Check your Membergroups Permissions.    (Click Modify across from each group) 
Bottom right side of that page - Make sure you have these checked:
Request notification on replies 
Request notification on new topics

Hi Sibyl,

Here are the screen shots of the options I think you are speaking of.  As I look at them, all of the options are selected and therefore he should be receiving the notifications (at least from my board).  Is there anywhere else I need to look?

Settings in his profile are fine.
He has this checked:  Receive reply notification only for the first unread reply.
That means that he will recieve a notification only for the FIRST unread reply in a topic that he has notification turned on for - he won't for subsequent replies.  He may want to uncheck that.
Notification will be turned on for any topic he creates or topic he replys to.
He needs to click the notify tab above any topics he wants notifications on that he did not create or hasnt replied to.  He can also click notify at the top of any Board Index to receive notifications for all threads in that Board.
If he is still not getting them then as I said have him check his email to see if it is filtering the emails - see if they are going to junk or spam folders.

Thank you Sibyl for you help in this matter.  I greatly appreciate your help!!
Now that I know its not "a board" setting that I have disabled, I am good.

I will send him a copy of this message to his PM and Email address on the board along with a "screen" capture of where to be notified of all responses etc.
