SMF For Free Support Forum

Hi everyone

I have a problem that needs to be looked into.

Last Year I opened a discussion board with you.  Everything was working well until November 2006. After that date the Admin button was no longer available. No matter how I searched or where I searched I could not find a way to locate the Admin button and could not get into the CP to close the board down.  Right around that time, I think SMF For Free was talking about closing the SMF For Free (1) boards, you just opened SMFFF boards 2, in which I opened an account for my present day discussion board.  Since there was no Admin button, I could not personally close the board. Since that time, 81 people have registered to the board but it is not a working board.  If there is any way to close the board permanently, will you please do that?

Since the last posted message from the Admin (me) was November 28, 2006, people still keep registering and I don't think it is safe to keep the forum boards open.  It needs to be closed permanently.

Thank You for your help.  Your link worked and I did have to put the board in Maintenance Mode.  This should keep it out of hands of those who like to cause problems.  Thanks again,

So it is not possible to fully collapse a SMF forums if you are an admin/site owner?

Did you remove yourself from the admin membergroup?
