Centering Banners
« on: March 08, 2006, 05:44:51 pm »
*waves Hi,

I know this is most likely a stupid question..
How do I center the banner in the forum? I've searched but can't seem to find a place where I can edit it to be in the center.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Keltoi

Is it a custom banner? Or are using headers and footers. If header and footers use the <center> tag </center> to center an image.
Otherwise what theme are you using?

Hi,
Thank you for the quick response. I am using the ElemenT theme as my forum default.

I went in and put the tags into Header/Footer but for some reason it is still verging to the left instead of being in the center.
This is the code I am using:
<CENTER>
<IMG SRC="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v665/SnowFire3/defaultbannerblue1hv.jpg">
</CENTER>

Hi Don,

My forum is located  here:
http://defaultalliance.smfforfree.com

When going to Manage Style, they only give out the Default in the drop down menu so I clicked on that, and went to Edit Headers/Footer to input what you said and it's still looking like it's on the left.. Don't know what I am doing wrong.:(

Headers and Footers are for the default theme only.
