My Own Database

Guys, i have my own server, which has been down for a few days "server admin being working on it" and as my sites pretty popular was going to use this as an alternative for a while....

I have the forum backed up with the "DBNAME"-complete_2006-07-24.sql.gz" file.

I know in my server i can use and rollback these databases, was just wondering how i go by putting up my own bakced up db onto these forums? i know people are asking how to actually BACKUP these forums, but i only wan't to put UP my datebase.

Then why post?

Um, well this would be a question for our one admin SMF For Free. Usually something like a database backup or put up a database would cost you a little money.
Simply put, there's no way to do it yourself, but I'm sure if you contacted SMF you and him could work something out for a price.

Yeah. Crasy you're right...  It will cost you some money but we don't know answer to that only SMF does  :)

SMF For Free is currently busy with all kinds of serverside stuff. New servers, new mods, new forums, downtime problems, new sites.

For now, we can all be patient just for a second. Just wait and let SMF For Free deal with this. Himself. We don't need to be posting in this topic.
