Your banner alone is 236.34 KB
We're looking at animated objects on your page that are absolutely massive.
For a typical 64 Kbps modem the load time on your page is 3 min. 24 sec.

You have 13 flash objects on the page.
Countless animated pictures and banners.
The page size is 43328 bytes.
The images and flash boost that to 1675935 bytes...

You need to cut out some of those codes from your page.

clair hi hon.   As Crasy said you do have an awful lot going on there when going to  your forum.    It takes a good amount of time for it all to load up.    I would look over all that is on your forum and decide what things you really DO need for your forum.    A forum is afterall for discussion right?      If some of that is not that necessary then you can disable/or delete the portal blocks for some of it.    I recently took a lot off my own forum and it sped it up tremendously as it no longer has to load that stuff up.    I can try to optimize the banner for you again although Im pretty sure I got it down as low as I could without sacrificing resolution.

clair..  I redid the banner I had made for you and majorly lowered the filesize so that the banner will load much faster for you.    Sending you it thru a pm so check your pms.
