i have one of my member online today say he/she can not see the messages Button at the top of the forum

i was working on the forum today to make that member a Moderator

Did i do something to it???

so will some help me with this, as i dont know what to do.

Check this section of Permissions for your Membergroups:
Personal Messaging 
  Read personal messages   
  Send personal messages
