background question

How would I change the background appearance? Meaning If I a hosted photo that I would like to tile on the background?

I know even when i upload the image in the backround and change the backround color to have non the image doesnt show

Styles only work on the default theme. No other themes are supported for styles.

You would need to create a style.
Go To Manage styles and enter the background url.
After you create the basic style information then you can modify the css file if you want to customize it more.

CSS is a bit complicated to understand, but once you get it you'll own your forums capabilites!

Go to the Style Sheet-Modify then choose a custom style sheet. The style sheet is written in CSS(Cascading Style Sheets)

Simply put CSS made made out to make making a website easier so that a single file could be modified to make every page on the site look different
CSS can change how your forum looks, font colors, font sizes, backgrounds, background settings(how it's tiled and stuff like that)
Pretty much you can change the appearance easily...if you want to learn CSS you should first learn HTML then CSS
