Is my background image not working, I've done it several times before & it worked fine & now no go...I'm putting it in Edit news as this < body background=http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b113/Geezler/chainlink.gif>

Baily,    before SMF fixed it so we can edit headers/footers putting it in the news was a way to get a background in.   Not necessary now.    (although it does work and you may just need to get rid of the space at the front)       He is right though.. better to stick it in your Headers/Footers

i did what you guys suggest but it just comes out just a picture how do you make it cover the entire forum site  ???

backgrounds do not show up well in all themes.   Could be the case with the theme you are using.   I know the background will not show up all thru the forum with several of the themes,  only does with some
