Does it work?
I have two separate sign-ins I can use and the one where I have set the personal theme (to SMF Default) to override the board default (CoolMetal) shows the image. The sign-in which has not reset the personal them so it uses the default theme (CoolMetal) displays the heading, but not the image.
In both cases, the following are set:
Use an image for the header? [checked yes]
Put the FULL image url here [full url - http//xxx.xxx.xxx.xx/zzzzzzz.jpg]
Remove Forum Title Near Banner? (Default Template) [checked yes]
The url is the same on both because I used copy and paste to ensure that it is!
Does the "(Default Template)" phrase in parenthesis mean that I can only use an image on the SMF Default theme?
Thanks

That's correct. You can only use it on the default them for SMF.

Well, I bet you know what is coming next............
Is that going to change any time soon? (hint, hint)
Thanks

Some of themes already have that built in to them. Just depends. I might be able to do it for the others. Remind me.

Could you do it for mercury?

OK, I'm reminding you that CoolMetal is the theme I've selected for the default.
So that I'm not a pest, how often do you want to be reminded? Once a month? Daily seems a bit overbearing ;D.
Thanks

Has CoolMetal been given the ability at this point in time?
Thanks

Done. You can remove the title as well on the cool metal theme.
