is there a way to have specific icons under a persons name w/o using the avatar system?

what i want is to post the persons rank icon under their name, but i dont want to interfere with their avatar.  i thought about making user groups that would use that icon, but i would need to make 2 groups per rank so i could have one for officers and one for members.

here is a link that shows the icons i want to use (monster player ones not free peoples :P)

Check the Guide Index that is pinned to the top of the Guides and Tutorial Board.
There is a Guide in there for using your own rank images
