SMF For Free Support Forum

i want to buy a chat room on my forum so it say who is in the chat room before users go in
i also need the chat room to be compatable with our free smf forums
do u know if there r any out there?

You would need an integrated chat room to do so and as you would not have access to upload the necessary files/make the necessary edits to use it that would not be possible.    There are some out there  (Google Search would be my suggestion) that you could place on your own personal webspace (if you have webspace of your own) and then link TO it via your forum -  possibly a Custom Tab.      Anything that requires uploading files you would not be able to use -  unless you do so via your own personal space.

The only thing I can suggest is to try their Free version and see if it works, if you like it.    We cannot possibly test nor know about everything out there        If they give you the embed code try using Webpage editor to create a page for it;  then a Custom Tab to get to it.     Or put it in an EzPortal Html Block.  You would have control over which membergroups can view and use it that way.

iv tried the free one and it works fine on a child board on the forum
im just scared to buy it if i find id get told off from smf or naything

Please clarify what you mean by you "added a new room"
