I tried doing a search but could not find an answer.

If someone posts off topic in a thread & I want to move that one post to the proper thread how can I do that?

I know how to split the post off & put it in a new topic but I do not see any way to actually merge the new topic with a current topic.

You can move or split a topic. I don't believe you can move a single post, all you can do is remove it.

Just look in the same place on your forum for the tab.

can you direct me to the post by crazy sybul?  If there is an easier way to do it I would like to know.

Also I still do not see a merge button just above the quick reply.  Once i finally find it am I gonna think "if it was a snake it woulda bit me"

It is the ONLY way you can do what you wanted to do in your first question in this thread.
You should know how to do the merge thing now, and where the merge button is so you can do the second part of what he said..
