hi cooldude...  If you read thru that guide and keep trying you'll figure it out..    and you need to understand it yourself in order to tell your own members how to do it eh?  ;)   I'll see if I can help you though

When you are at Youtube just copy the embed code they have there for the video you want.
Copy it into windows notepad so you can grab out of it what you need.

The embed code has two urls in it.   (they are identical) and will look like this:  http://www.youtube.com/v/yCg3ye2bMMA
 

Copy only the url and paste it into a message and use the flash button in the post area 

[ flash=200,200]YouTube URL[ /flash]  is how it will look.

Change the 200,200  to the size you want   (you have to play with that to find out...  click preview each time you edit it  until you see it as you want it.

cooldude:   Be sure you have enabled flash on your board too

Admin > Posts and Topics
Put checkmark for embed flash into posts

OK I have added that to the headers and footers and done what was said on here word for word but it did not show up on the forum.PLease help

If you are trying to post youtube videos on the home page then make a new block for it and put in the code..

That is not what I am trying to do.What I am trying to do is put a link on the forum so you can get to youtube from there.I can and have posted a tube video on the forum and then deleted to make sure I did it right and I did.But I want a link from the forum to youtube.
