Do This Hope It Helps
AdminCP - Forum - Boards - Add Board(In Right Forum Section)

Then In The Order Tab You SHould See Before, Child Of And After so select child of and to the right of it the forum you want it to be child of and there you go

and to put more than one child board in I've found it easiest to but the drop down box as after and then the forum drop down box the last childboard you made ;)

If you want the topics and posts totals to be added to the parent boards total on the main index go to Boards > Settings and put a checkmark in:  Count child's posts in parent's totals
