There is no way to do so.

I was looking at some forums....and the page source just to see...and you can't see their headers and footers.
So, i thought there's a way to hide the contents of my footers and headers.

Any SMF for Free forum that you view the page source on you will see the headers and footers.

Even if a code were created the page gets downloaded to the Temp Internet Files folder and anyone can retrieve it from there on their own computer.    Every image, every file on the page gets downloaded to that folder on every site you visit.   There is no effective way to block viewing it nor anything else on a site in reality.

I may have a little something that could give you a hand...and hide a couple of codes, but it will not hide the source all together.
Heres what you can do:

-Copy a script
-Save it in notepad
-Remove all the <script>,</script> and <script type="text/javascript"> etc. All those need to be removed
-File > Save as
You will need to save it as a .js file, and also may change the encoding of the file, to do this, click the drop-down, next to Encoding: and select Unicode
*Remember to save it as a .js file An example would be codes.js

There are a few places you can upload the file to them:
http://aquate.us/
www.ripway.com
So,:

-Proceed to either website
-Register for an account if you havent already
-Click "My files" and upload the file
-Paste this code in your headers or footers (whichever they belong to)
Code: [Select]
<script src="URL GOES HERE">
You get the URL when you upload the file.

It may be a little tricky, post here if you need any more help on this :)
