Can anyone tell me how to make a home page? I have what is says home page but I want to make it different from my forum.Iwould like to have both But I only have one.So what do I do.

Hmmmm... If you have any prior experience with HTML and other web coding languages, you could make a homepage real easy. But if you want a real simple GUI interface for making yourself a homepage, go to googlepages.com
Making webpages using Google Page Creator is as simple as ABC and you don't need any experience.
Then to link to your homepage from your forum, you could use Moose's Add More Tabs code.

Just in case there isnt some confusion.

lilbit_miers are you wanting the portal system,  like you see on other Smf For Free forums?     You would have a Home and a Forum tab.  You can set up the "portal"   (which is an entry way of sorts to your forum)  as you wish if you use some imagination.     There is a guide for it here:

Yes that was what I was looking for but like nothing new I still did not get it.IT showed up as a new tab but there was nothing on it   just a page with the chat box and really nothing else except at the bottom of the page it showed the title.

Read totally through the Guide.
It will show you how to add more blocks.
There will be nothing there until you add things to it.
There are also links at the bottom of the guide for a couple of html help sites to help you with doing html blocks.


The chatbox you mentioned.
It is in your Header.
Anything you put in your Header or Footer will show up on all pages on  your forum.
