In guide: http://www.smfsupport.com/support/guides-and-tutorials/guide-custom-smiles.0.html i stopped on step 4.

I don't have options displayed there... O_x

THis is what i have:



I am totally confused.

Can anyone help? Default smilies r damn ugly...

Forum url?   I can only assume you are using SMF 1.1.2. and if so you cannot add smileys.
You can replace the existing ones.

It looks like a 1.1.2 to me.

And yeah, only can replace existing.

Go here and follow the directions.  They are step by step and I cannot make them shorter or clearer..   THere are several things you will need to do.

I have read post on this before ...
But i cant figure out what ya mean when ya say only change excisting smileys...
I added a new smiley set and added all new  smileys and codes and they worked...
I cant really remember how i done it just that it took me days to get it sorted........ :2funny: :2funny: :2funny:

Its server 1, as server 2 doesn't have those options (Add Smiley, ect.)

The version of SMF you are using doesnt have the upload option so you cannot do it that way  :)

This is just my humble opinion but when talking about options we are confusing everyone by saying server 1 and server 2.

It isnt about which server you are on.
It is about which version of SMF you are using.

If you are using SMF 1.07 you have different options and settings and abilitys then you do if you are using SMF 1.1.2.

There are 1.1.2 forums on server 1 -  they are not only on server 2.    IF you had your forum upgraded you are still on server 1 so if we say it works on server 1 that is NOT true because it will not work with SMF 1.1.2

So I think we really need to ask what VERSION you are using and tell people it can/cannot work with that version...   not what server.

I'm on smf 1.1.2 and on server 1 ....I got the original forum upgrade...
I just noticed I cant upload them sorry.......
I forgot about the upgrade,I done them in the forum before that....
