I need some help, I have set up my board to work with my domain. But I get there error... An Error Has Occurred!
Domain name is not setup correctly! Please make sure that you own the domain name and that you have created and setup the nameservers.

I know that my domain and nameservers are set up correctly. Can someone help?

Backtrack thru your steps and be absolutely positive.
What domain name are you trying to use?
What is your forum's url?
Has it been 24 to 48 hours since you setup the nameservers?
Did you get a "1" when you Verified it?
Where did you purchase the domain name (in case we have a guide to help you here)
What did you put in the box here in Domain Manager AFTER you set it all up:

If you want to unpark it click on the Reset Default Forum Url to orginal link at the bottom of the Domain Manager Page.    You'll also need to go back to your Domain Host and change your settings there.

Unpark it in Domain Manager FIRST.

make sure its unparked..   Go do your forum using the normal smf for free url and make sure its not changing to your domain name.    If its workign fine then yeah go to your domain host to get that back to your website.

Ok thanks. Sorry I couldn't use this service but it was just too much of a hassle.

You could always put a link on your webpage that leads to the forum here.    ;)

They're both listed on your domain page

Admin CP > Domain Manager (they both use the same IP)

My server says it requires two different IP addreses. I tried using the same one twice, it gave me the same message and would not work which is why I made my previous post.  ::)

Molly -  these are the nameservers you need to set up and you use the same IP for both of them.

ns1.yourdomainname.com
ns2.yourdomainname.com

Replace yourdomainname.com with the domain that you are going to use for your forum.

What is your domain host?
