gallery space

ok...when I go to admin > attachments > file maintenance, it shows how much space is used,and how much is left for attachments. I can't find where to check the same things for the Gallery!Where can you find how much is used/remaining?

There isnt a page where you can check that information, that I can find. Since apparently, Gallery images do not go towards your initial 1MG of free attachment space, its really not something to worry about. If your images start taking up too much space on the server, I am sure SMF will let you know.  :)

Seems to me that SMF said,when he first installed the Gallery,that we only had a certain amount of space...but I can't find it by searching this forum.

I just checked my forum and it still only shows that post attachments and avatars are the only images going towards the space each forum has alloted for images. Until that changes, I wouldn't worry about it.

Apparently,we have 5MB of space...because I just used all of mine  :'(

My reccomendation, set a limit on those images.

Most images can be optimized to less than 100kb. Most sigs can be brought down to 30-40kb. And that gives you a fair bit of space.
