Forum Upgrades

Well, I notice many forums are powered by SMF 1.1.7

How can I get this? I've downloaded it but do not know what to do next.

Edit : I'm just wondering why it says "Powered by SMF FOR FREE" when other forums say "Power by SMF 1.1.7"

Hosted forums all say "Powered by SMF" at the bottom of the forum.    It denotes they are using the SMF Software.     With so many servers, rather then having to change the ver # at the bottom whenever an upgrade is done it is simpler to leave it at that.
