Forum Banner Border

Ok, well you see, my banner has a border around the edges that I want to get rid of.

Example:



The stuff around the red line is what I'm talking about. Is there a code to get rid of that?

Did you try resizing your banner the same width as your forum?

No, but my creator of the banner has the same problem and he had a code for it. His code didn't work.

Since you have the banner in the logo image url area there is no way to "get rid of" what is around it.    The banner is put inside that area, which is the catbg area.     

You could put the banner in your header instead.

You can not "remove"  the catbg.   The forums source code has it in there.  It is the areas such as the category headers, and many other places on the forum.    The css controls the color, border of it.    If you, through the css, change it to have no color or borders, you will screw up a bunch of areas on your forum      

Take a look at this site.  See all the yellow areas?   Those are the catbg areas.

You are better off just resizing  the banner. There are many sites online that will do it without having to download anything. Just google it.
