error happening on my forum

check your spam/junkmail folder and see if the email is there

It will not send you your password.  It will send you a link that you click on and when you do that it takes you to your forum where there will be a box that you put your new password in, then it allows you to login.

hotmail is notoriously bad

No,  Im sorry, I do not have access to do something like that, only SMF for FREE can do things like that.

I dont even know if this will work but try:

login using:   warpscape
password:    the password you used when you signed up for the forum

no that won't do it....    sorry, ive never used that page and dont know whats on it to help you with that part of it   (and its not letting me login to fixcp on my server 4 test forum to check it out)   ugh

I don't use hotmail myself but check thru settings with them and see if somehow the email is getting blocked.
