hi Tash.  Did you use one of the Guides to replace them?
If so, which one?   
The one for the smileys you see here at support OR the one to replace the ones you have?

I used the ones here at support.  My test forum is fine and I am trying to remember how I did it but for the life of me can't.

I would love to have the emoticons I see here in  my real forum :'(

Okay.   This is the Guide for using the smileys you see here:  Click here for the Guide
Make sure you followed every step.

Important things to check:
Did you:  Go to Current Theme > Select default smiley set for this theme:   Use the dropdown box and choose smf

Did you:  Make sure that the base url address has NO blank spaces- before or after it - (its important)

Sib when you say base url, you mean I have to enter my Cafe Chat url, yes?  I should have wrote things down, sorry.

No hon this:

Go to Admin/Smileys and Message Icons
Click on the Settings tab.
Under the base url spot put this:    http://www.smfboards.com/Smileys/
be sure this url is EXACTLY as above.. no spaces before or after or it will NOT work
put a checkmark for :  enable customized smileys
Save

Go read thru the guide..  do each step, step by step, from the beginning :)

Sib, I tried each step over and over and even though I see the smileys in the Admin section they are still showing ups as X's...oiye!!! :crazy2:
