I had some of those "guests" as well, and when i checked the online user list, it would something like
Guest (IP)   02:35:11 am   Posting in topic: Post Your Daily Sightings V1
or
Guest (IP)   02:35:11 am   Nothing, or nothing you can see...

I don't trust that at all, if it is a bot, i wanna know, otherwise, i am going to have to assume that someone is trying to hack my account

Your account can not be hacked.
As far as the "Nothing or nothing you can see" goes?    Do a search here for "nothing you can see" and you will find a LOT of posts about it..   it is nothing at all to worry about.

Ok thanks, that's a big load off my back, but the permissions on my board is that guests cannot post, yet. there was a guest posting.... it didn't go through though, but the fact that they can attempt throws me into confusion, when i logged off, there was no reply button for me, so how did that other guest post?  ???

As you said,  there was no post  ;)     If you cannot see a reply tab as a guest no one else can either.
Keep in mind that what you see in that Who's Online can be misleading and that it is usually nothing nefarious or bad going on.   Don't be paranoid -  enjoy using your forum.  Don't worry about "bad guys" unless you actually have them, then deal with them.   But don't imagine the boogey man by what you see in that list ;)  I rarely ever look at the Who's Online list on my forum  (and cannot remember the last time I looked at it here)

Also just a tip  (for anyone running a forum)  Don't make your members feel they are being watched over.   Do you want to feel that way when you visit a forum?    Make it a fun, relaxed place to be.
