domain name

ok i set up a domain name at .net.tf www.planet-gfx.net.tf is what i done but i can still go back to the smfforfree domain name how do i permanately change it to .net.tf?

.net.tf  will not work.    Cannot have two dots.    Has to be something like .com, .net, .org, etc

Also, I think this was part of your question:
Once you get a working domain you can still use the smf given URL and it will work.

hmm it loads fine ofr all my members it just takes a sec they say they can login and everything

redirecting service?     you can use either url.    You can not set it up in Domain Manager though.   
SInce they use cloaking keep an eye on it.  Cloaking doesnt work well with the forums - we see things like getting logged off, or not being able to login quite alot.

ohh ok well i just announced the topic so i guess taht'll work but when you go to the .net.tf one instead of smf one it is the .net.tf is that supposed to happen lol

If you and/or your members have issues yes you will need to turn off cloaking.
You'll have to find out at the site where you got the url how to do that.

ok well we arent having any issues but you know when its loading it comes on a white screen and stays for like 10 secs and then goes to the forum is it supposed to do that sorry ive never done this before

That I dont know.  It could vary from service to service.   I don't use them.   
Forums have been a little slow today at times, might be that.  If it keeps up remove it to see what happens.
