Domain Manager and Domain Parking help?

I have been trying to figure out how the Domain Manager and Domain Parking thing works. To me it makes no sense, I just bought a domain (www.rune-escape.info) then went to the admin CP and then domain manager, and put in the URL and this error comes up

I guess I don't understand how to set it up. I know I own the domain, and I don't know how to create and setup the nameservers. Can anyone possibly help?

Ok I got it forwarded, is that what I am supposed to do? Or is it supposed to say www.yourwebsite.info then when you go to a new page something like www.yourwebsite.info/forums? Ugh this is confusing.

You have to create the nameservers at your domain host -  the place you purchased the domain thru.   You do NOT setup anything in Domain Manager until after you have done so.

This page shows how you do so with Godaddy -  I don't know who you purchased yours from.

I purchased mine from gadaddy. only $1 so I thought I'd give it a try, it's forwarded now though, so when you type it in, it redirects you, as a .TK or .CO.NR does. Is that how it's supposed to work? it seems like that's wrong.

No you don't want to set it to forwarding.     You need to park the domain name.

Follow the steps in the link that I posted to you in the post above.   It walks you thru what to do, step by step.   The post by me in that thread is followed up by a post by SMF for Free with pictures in it so you can see visually where to go, what to do.

Ok that helped a lot. But now when I type www.rune-escape.info it will bring me to my forums, but when I click on forums it keeps me at the home page. Do I just need to wait? Or did I mess it up  :crazy2:

He didnt do anything on our end.  It can take up to 24 hours for the dns to resolve when you do this.   Sometimes its very quick...    Its working perfectly for me
