Do I need to do anything after move?
« on: May 18, 2009, 05:34:10 am »
Forum Url: http://starr.smfforfree.com
I was just wondering if I need to do anything after the move is completed to access my forum?
I'm still getting this message since around 2pm yesterday.

"Forum Server migration in process for latest information visit the support forums."

Thank You

No. You just have to wait until the DNS changes take effect.

I was on the site, I was seeing no style, it was all white, my members were seeing my selected style, so how do I remedy this on my end?

If you wish to try to get on sooner (after the move is completed)  you can try to flush the dns manually
There is no guarantee this will work.      Note:   Will not work on Win98, Win98SE

Start > Run >  type in cmd.exe
Click OK
Type in:    ipconfig /flushdns
Hit Enter:
Wait for the response
Type EXIT to exit the command prompt

If this doesn't work, they will slowly start to be able to access the forum over time.
