When new members join this is what they get: an error message

Database Error
Please try again. If you come back to this error screen, report the error to an administrator.

The thing is that they can still post and are fine, but i think they are being attracted away because of this... what should i do?

Do you have, Welcome Configuration Enabled? Sometimes That causes that problem.

It's a glitch that has still not been worked out.  You can put a notice in your registration form and advise members that they may run into that and disregard it and try to log in.  I have run into it on several forums and sometimes get it on mine also. It has always allowed me to go log in though.

Fixed the error. The issue was u were using a member's name as the members id for PM on registration.
