Sorry, I meant to say: could I modify and display the Database file from an SMF forum for use on one of my other webpages?

SMF is the only one that has access to the database files because he is the one hosting all the forums on his servers. In order for you to have access to your forums database, you will need to download the forum software from www.simplemachines.org and host the forum on your own server. This entails starting your forum over again from scratch because SMF no longer gives backups. If you want your current content on the new forum, you would have to manually move everything yoursef.
