Edit: Ditto that. I wonder what's really tipping these servers over the edge all of the sudden though?

It does seem to be taking a long time to access anything,logon screen or white page..

Was it just me or did SMF just disconnect this pages server for a second? This page was unavailable for a second. I'll consider it a good sign somehow. ;)

Ah, good. My computer isn't exactly the most stable so I never like to report on something wierd happping since 3/4 times it's just my computer being stupid.
The forums are slow a lot, 3/4 times it's because my sister is downloading 7 differert things at once while surfing the internet and playing the Sims. (Which for some reason the Sims messes with my router causing it to die withen a hour)

Not reliable at all...

Okay, so that's the problem. All I can say is good luck. You have any predictions on how this is going to look in the future for us?

Yeah, I've looked at CreateMyBB SMF. It doesn't look bad...maybe I'll set myself up a forum there sometime in the future.

Yeah I am still hopeful this this one will be fixed...we have 2 forums and 1 is huge with members...the other one just reached 175.  Lots of stuff that we have on there...I would hate to lose.

Should I be backing up my information on my forum, when it gets back up...in case?  If so, what is the best way?

Also, I guess my thinking is....is what is happening here...or what all could happen here...couldn't the same thing happen with that other site as well?  Just wondering.  :)
