connection problems

when i try to get to my site i get this error:

24 hours  :o  My members has no idea that we are moving to a new server.  They actually have no idea that we still exist  ???

Patience is the key word here.  With the number of forums and hosting sites that SMF has to move, it takes time, lots of time.  And then we have to let the poor guy get a few hours of sleep.  Moving everything is not easy and does take a bit of time.

It is always good to check in here a couple of times a week to see if something is going on or is going to happen, such as this server move.    There was a server move either last year or the one before, and it did take time, but all was so much better for all the forums after the move.

You won't lose anything on your forums, actually your forums will be much better, not in things offered, but in things such as forum down time and speed.

I know it is frustrating to not be able to get on your forum, I am having the same problem, but SMF will get everything done hopefully soon.

Tis a poem for one and all to pass the time and flowers from my garden that I share have a great day everyone!!!



Lilacs....
They grow so fast
And how we hope they will last
All kinds of colours and fragrances dear
Their smells sometimes overwhelms and make me sneeze I fear!!!

But, the beauty shines through
And plant more I will for there are too few...
Trim them not
For wild they are beautiful and will not be forgot!!!

They are one of the first flowers of the season
And they seem to flower without reason...
Some grow tall
But I think I like them more when they are small!!!

They seem to be a hearty flower
Healthy and have lots of power...
I love my garden of lilacs bloom
I can rest my eyes and smell their lovely perfume!!!!

Still transferring at the moment. It is hard to say how long it takes because it does not say how long it takes.  For SMF For Free 4 it is currently on forums starting with A but there are still hundred of thousands of files to transfer.
