Unaware of how it is set up, but I took a look around, and it looks like the topic starters get that background.

Jay - that won't help  ;)  There is not a way to modify the css so that the topic starters backgound of their posts is a different color.

odarn - There is no way to do a topic starter background color on your forum.

There is a topic solved mod installed here at Support.  What you see here is part of that mod.
The modification is not available to your hosted forums.

Just for info purposes here is what the Mod does here:
The topic starters posts background color are a yellowish color:  #FFFFC8
(its not orange on my screen - some say it looks brown to them)

When you are the topic starter and someone replies to your post you will see a checkmark and an x at the top right hand corner of their post.     The checkmark means Approve Post.   The x means Disapprove Post.
(see attachment)

If you click Approve Post on the persons post - the background of your posts in the thread will be green.
If you click Disapprove Post on the persons post - the background of their post will be a dark pinkish/reddish  color.

The Mod is set to work only in the General Support Board.  It does not do what SMF had thought/hoped it would and we have suggested other options to him to aid in depicting Solved Topics (for Support Forum only)
