Hi, if I delete my board just for the Christmas holidays, and reopen it after New Year's Day, it won't be deleted will it? Like if I put something like "Due to the Christmas Holidays, Let's Just Talk will be closed. Hope to see everyone back here after January 1, 2009. Happy Holidays! Any questions e-mail me at <insert e-mail here>" it won't be deleted will it? Not if it's just going to be closed for a short period of time?

no it wont so ur going to delete all of your boards? why not just go to admin>forum settings>check mark maintenence mode

Well you cant close a site/forum-or as you called "board"
But you can put it in maintenance mode
Admin CP->Forum settings->

Check the box that says Maintenance mode
Sunbject to display:Closed for the holidays
Message for display: We are closed for the holidays. If you have any questions e-mail me at PUT YOUR E-MAIL HERE

Thanks. I'm not deleting all my forums that are on there. I've started over too many times already. Okay. Thanks for the help, you guys. I didn't want to delete it totally, it'll only be closed for a couple of weeks.
