i want to disallow members this power??

is it possible?

This was done on my last forum. Yes it is possible. We found it was too easy for members to click delete and regret it later. So we bought in a policy of writing to Admin or a Moderator, after a 7 day period of not posting, they were deleted.(The 7 day period was a cooling off time in case they reconsidered).

Yes you can do it. In your admin panel. All you have to do is edit the member group permisions. There is an option for Delete account and you can turn it on or off.
