I recently reopened my forum and its really slow again!

Hi.

I posted here a few months ago about my forum being slow, and I see others do that as well, and usually the matter is seen to and fixed...at the time, it WAS fixed, and the board loaded as fast as any other site.

I am reopening the board after a period of nonuse, and I see that its pretty slow again.

Can this matter be seen to?

what happened to me was that i had too much in my headers and footers and it got slow. i just removed noncrucial bits from my footers and it got faster.

In your footers you have this

>Click HERE</a> for Chat room</center></b>
You are showing </center> to close centering, but you have never opened it with the <center> for the code.  That may confuse the load enough to slow it down also.

Try this

<center><b><a href="http://pw1.netcom.com/~sschiff/chat.html"
>Click HERE</a> for Chat room</b></center>

Thank you. I was offline for a while and not maintaining my board, I just got it rolling again and I saw this post.

It seems to be loading faster now...even before I fixed the html code that you pointed out.
