Bumping Polls

I've had a look around but couldnt find anything to help me. I'm looking to find out if there is a way to bump poll threads to the top of a section if someone votes in there but doesn't necessarily post something? A lot of the polls on my forum are getting lost under heaps of other threads because they don't 'bump' when there is a vote without a post. Anybody know if it can be done?

Also, is there a way to remove 're' from the posts? Its really annoying
