Banning options !

Hello all, i would like to know how to let my moderators ban members, i search out some things it could be but doesn`t work. So how can i give a group some banning options on members ?
Please help me.

Admin > Permissions > Click Modify for the Group
Under Member Administration (on the left) put a check mark next to:  Manage Ban List

Admin CP-Members-Permissions-Manage Ban List. 

Be very careful who you give this permission to.  Personally, I don't let anyone have it but myself and one carefully selected Assistant Administrator.  Moderators shouldn't need this permission anyway, IMHO.

I agree with what Laundry Lady said.   Be very careful who you give this permission to.   Too many times we have seen people wind up banned from thier own forums.
