I am going to redo the portal later tonight.
I am going to move the settings from edit features and settings to its own page.
Adding more options to control the overal look of the portal.

The forums don't usually go down when SMF does something. He's sometimes even done stuff and never told us!

These are the blocks that you will have to use in the intial release. You can use one of each block on the portal.
Basiclly I will give everyone a basic template with like recent topics and whos online then in the portal editor you can add html code and reorder the portal blocks.

Blocks:
{ONLINE}
{BOARDNEWS}
{POLL}
{RECENT}
{SEARCH}
{NEWS}
{BIRTHDAYS}
{EVENTS}
{HOLIDAYS}
{CALENDER}
{WELCOME}
{BOARDSTATS}
{TOPPOSTER}
{TOPTOPICSREPLIES}
{TOPTOPICSVIEWS}
{TOPBOARDS}
{LATESTMEMBER}

SMF... I have a question.        I have a background on our forum.    We also are ad free at the moment.    Because of both of these things at the same time the portal does not have the white background to it.  It is transparent and everything shows on top of the background I have in place.     As you can imagine, it makes it very difficult to read anything in the portal.   Because of this i have it disabled.

Question is:    Is there some way you can have a setting in there to keep that background white?
