ahh haaaa u have to allow permissions for everywun..even unregisterd guests....well it seems thats wat i changed an it appeared :-[ unless u did something SMF for free

Go to Edit forum News , (in Admin Pannel) Click Add news Item . You'll know the rest

News items on the portal? They are selected from the board that you choose for the news. All you need to do then is make a new post in the board and it appears on the portal. I plan to redo the portal soon and add more features to it.

Under Features and Options you can enable it if thats what you mean

Also there you can set which board it gets the news from.

Simply point it to a board. Any new topic posted in that board becomes news in the portal.

I'll make a guide about this maybe...or someone else can.

Edit: I noticed you already have a news board..at features and options just point the portal there
