well ive noticed that there are many versions of SMF 2.0 out and i was wondering when SMF 2.0 will be added to the SMFFORFREE forums?

SMF 2.0 is still in the Beta stages and would not be recommended for a service like this where there is no room for error.
Once SMF 2.0 is complete, SMF For Free will begin preparing the forums from upgrade.
And then once the forums are prepared he will test it out on a few forums.

Then the upgrade will happen.

If I could also add one more thing? All of the mods that are available for SMF 1.1 have to be re-made to be compatible with 2.0, this means that many of the mods that we have installed here may be unavailable at this early stage.

mine is still SMF 1.0.12. and glides along quite nicely .....

If you are on SMFforFree service you don't have to worry, SMF will upgrade when he has everything ready.  Sorry, my crystal ball is still broken, so I can't give you a time frame.
