ecommerce questions

i was just wondering more about this feature addon.

is this simply an add on for existing sites w/ smf? or is this something we can create a seperate site for our own online stores?

and if so, how do we actually do this?

Don't know if you saw this post.  It might answer some of your questions.  I don't use it, so I really don't know any more than this.

Currently it is just an addon to SMF.  I am working on a seperate solution that you can install on a website without SMF installed.

i like the idea of the ecommerce store as both an add on, and seperately.  :)
