Title: Money using surveys?
Post by: -A- on January 21, 2008, 10:26:30 pm
Can you really make money doing those silly online surveys? I always thought this was a scam..

I don't know, but I seriously doubt it. The world wouldn't be running if it was so easy to earn money.

All they do is open you up for viruses, trojans and more spam than you have ever seen in your life.

I remember I got through half of one a couple of years ago... I had to get a new e-mail address! LOL

One person does make money by filling those out...but it's not you.
You're the victim.

Yeah, you can make money. You can also win products. My friend participates in over 50 and has won a lot of money, plus 3 i-pods, a grilling machine, and vouchers. I'm on only one Globaltestmarket, when you reach 1000 points you gain £25 of money, and yes they do work. It just depends if you have the time for it, as the surveys can consume all your hours. Plus, you have to be careful as there are some really dodgy ones out there. (For instances, if they offer pop-ups)

They might be ok in Europe, but you definitely don't want to do them here.  All of them that I have seen want you to sign up for magazines and such somewhere along the way.

The old rule is the best one.  If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

My rule is: If you want something for nothing, you get what you paid for.

They will never work here in the Phil. I don't think we will even believe them. I usually would think they are scams.
