IM Charity

I've always been a sucker for the kind of charities that take no effort at all to participate in. I love this one, so I'm going to share it with you all.

Meet IM home. Microsoft is going to donate at least $100,000 to these causes. Just because they're charitable like that.

Then it's up to us to fill in the rest of the money. All you need to do is get Windows Messenger Live v8.1 and use it. Microsoft will do the rest.

Here's the official guide on how to start donating, without actually losing a penny from your own pocket.

All you need to do is:
"Next to your name, type one of the following codes, including the asterisk, for the cause you'd like to support.
Text Code            Cause
*red+u                American Red Cross
*bgca                  Boys & Girls Clubs of America
*naf                    National AIDS Fund
*mssoc                National MS Society
*9mil                   ninemillion.org
*sierra                 Sierra Club
*help                   StopGlobalWarming.org
*komen                Susan G. Komen for the Cure
*unicef                 U.S. Fund for UNICEF "

I love it, I'm personally going to be putting *sierra in my name. Everytime I talk to someone Microsoft is going to donate money to Sierra Club for me.
