Naw, you misunderstood  ;)   I don't dislike it at all.  In fact I think its done in a much better way and leads to more flexibility.  It just took a lot of digging thru and re-learning is all.

I like the SMF version more because I feel it's much easier to edit things on here...

Totally agree...

I guess we have no choice when creating a new forum as to if we are SMF for Free or CreateAForum.

Just way to confusing...

Glad my two forums are both SMF for Free!

No it won't.    SMF for Free and CreateaForum are two separate forum hosting services; both owned by the same person.   They both use simplemachines SMF software.    SMF for Free uses the 1.* version of the software.  CreateaForum uses the newest version of the software - 2.0     New forum signups are created on Createaforum for now to lighten the load on the SMF for Free servers.   That's all that's happening  ;)

If we switch over to CreateAForum.com do the things on here like the codes nevertheless work? Are really we qualified to get the 100k posts thing nevertheless?

Some of the codes will work, some of them will not.

As far as the 2nd question, SMF will need to answer that one for you.
