CyberNations is a nation building online browser game that is free and fun to play.  Joining an alliance is key to learning the game quickly as well as receiving funds to grow.  I run an alliance called The Empire of the New Evolution (TENE) and I'm always looking out for new members to join the game and my alliance (www.thenewevolution.smfforfree.com).  The committment to the game can be as little (5-10 minutes per day or every few days) to obsessed freaks like myself (a lot of time practically everyday).

What do you do in the game and in an alliance? 

The Game
Learning the game is key, which you get when you join my alliance right up front.  Getting cash is also key (we provide 6 mil in grants).  And from there, you learn to buy improvements such as banks, stadiums, harbor, and a foreign ministry and use them to grow your tax collections.  This in turn helps you to collect more money so you can buy even more improvements.  Eventually, you get big enough to start buying wonders such as the Manhattan Project (which allows nukes), stock market (financial boost to your nation) among many others.  The dynamics of the game aren't obvious at first - but after you sink your teeth into it, you realize there's many ways to play the game, grow your nation, and increase your position among the 22k plus players in the game.

The Alliance Aspect to the game....
The biggest benefit to joining my alliance as soon as you join CN is to learn the game right away.  This just kills the learning curve and allows you to advance so much more quickly than struggling on your own.  Cash is king in the game, and I teach you how to maximize your nation setup for tax collections, how to handle your taxes and bills for maximum profits, what improvements to buy first to jumpstart your growth, as well as providing 6 mil to new members.............6 mil!!  In addition, I provide protection from attack (or help if you are attacked), a place to hang and meet other alliance members, the ability to hold positions of authority within the alliance as you learn the game, as well as contests and jobs to make even more money for your nation.

What do you do to join?

1. google cybernations. 
2. Go to their website and register and start a new nation
3. once you have your new nation, click "edit my nation" and enter TENE applicant in the alliance option (click "specify other" when trying to put in TENE applicant).
4. come to our forums at www.thenewevolution.smforfree.com    first register, then apply in the app thread.
5. put in your application that you came over after reading this and I will add another 3 mil to your grants
