Forum Url: http://w123gassers.smfforfree2.comI've seen this on Vbulletin where whomever replies in a thread multiple times, their signature only shows one time rather than every time they reply. Hope I'm being clear.

It would save bandwidth also, especially with those larger images. It would also speed up loading of pages, which is important to people that don't have high speed connections.

And its a very tasteful sig also, but many people have graphic intensive, overlarge or many images in their sigs. Having an Admin selectable option available for a Forum administrator would be nice.

That's understandable but generally the people viewing the thread will see the one. For the record, I'm not asking for this mod to be installed here at the support forum, rather for my own forum.

Understand that part, Nutz, I think it's a good idea.

I doubt it would save much bandwidth, seeing that any browser that's worth using(imho) would be downloading the image only once and then displaying it wherever it's needed. I like this idea due to the fact that it would be reducing the amount of clutter in a topic a lot.

It wouldn't speed anything up. Celebrus is correct. If you post an image 500 times on one page it'll still only load the image once.
It's all about reducing the clutter and scrolling. Though, signatures are really something that I end up ignoring and not noticing anyways. I just hate it when a signature is really large.

I don't care for large siggie images and I really don't see the need for 4 or 5 of the same style images in one signature block. When they are big they detract from the posts also.

bleh - a bunch of sigs or huge sig graphics are annoying. Its annoying on any forum and especially on a support or business forum when the threads are full of huge graphic images because of them. On any forum I use I always limit the size of my signature but then Im more a type b personality .. I do not like being in the forefront or to stand out.

Last time I looked I thought you could disable signatures in your profile. (Look and Layout)
Hiding individual signatures like that wouldn't be of much help in this case imo.

I don't mind the signatures as long as they aren't to big. One thing I like about them is that it helps separate the posts (at least with me)
