What I would really like is a way for Admin and Senior staff to know if the personal messages they send out are being received and opened.

Is there any way that this could be implemented?

To me ,that's pretty invasive. Defeats the whole personal bit of it,don't you think? Lets say they receive the message and choose not to respond, but you know they received it and get offended by their choice of not responding back and the rest is speculation. Just my $.02

It would only be for Administrator use.  That way I know if I don't get a response I can follow up another way such as e-mail.

My 2 pennies:

In a way I do have to agree with Nuts.

If we do not know a message has been read we wonder if it has or not.
If we were to know for sure it was read, and recieved no reply, would we then be ticked at no response?
Sometimes a response is not necessary... the person was informed...   they know.
If they choose to respond or not is up to them.

At any rate it would probably entail using a mod which may or may not exist I would think.

I think it would help to have a sent, that way you would know that the message was sent. Sometimes if you are sending messages to different members it can get confusing which ones you have already sent to!

You have an outbox.   You can always check that.
Go to your Profile then Personal Message Options
Put a Checkmark in Save a copy of each Personal Message in my outbox by default.
